Blood dyscrasia in pregnancy


Abstract
In normal pregnancy there appear physiologic changes in blood and blood-forming organs, and
these pregnancy-induced changes undergo considerable alterations with parturition.
Many dangerous forms of blood dyscrasias are apt to occur under the pathologic conditions of the pregnant woman.
The author describe here the recent information¡¯s about the pathophysiology of the blood dyscra,ias that occur during pregnancy, particularly tl:oce related to blood coagulation defect-i. e., t¢¥.iromboembolic disorders, t¢¥iromborytopenic purpura and defibrination syndrome.
